Q: Can my dogs be in the yard while scooping?

We love dogs, but not all dogs will love us, especially in their space. We ask that all pets be secured at all times inside the home while our Scoop Technician is cleaning your yard. If you have aggressive animals, we ask that you put them in an area of your home where they cannot see our Scoop Technician. This is for the safety of your pets and our staff.

Q: What's the cancellation policy?

Our Scoop Subscription is prepaid month-to-month with the option to cancel anytime. We will never charge you a cancellation fee. Because we want to make this as hassle-free as possible, you're not required to give us a notice of cancellation, but you will need to officially cancel your Scoop Subscription: You can do this either through your online client hub or by sending us an email to scoopinyards@gmail.com. We'll be happy to help. Please note that if you cancel before your prepaid month is over, you will not be refunded if there are remaining Scoops on your account. If you would like us to complete the month and then discontinue Scoop Service, we can do that! That way you get what you've already paid for.

What can I expect from Scoopin' Yards?

You can expect some good, family-friendly service! We are going to keep things simple:

First, we're going to send you an appointment reminder the day before and the morning of your Scoop Day to let you know we will be visiting to clean your property based on your chosen Scoop Service and any additional services requested.

Upon arrival our goal is to clean your yard as if it were our own!

We will double-bag the pet waste, dispose of it either in a trash bin (provided by customer), or we will neatly leave it where you would like us to (ex: side of home or garage door, etc.).

Once Scoop Service is complete, we will notify you by text and then send over that final gate photo to let you know that gates are closed and secure and it is safe for your pets to go back into the area!

Which Scoop Subscription should I choose?

Please see the Scoop Frequency Gallery below to give you an idea of which Subscription will be good for your specific needs.

Monthly Scoop Subscriptions available:

Twice Weekly - up to 4 dogs*
Once Weekly - up to 4 dogs*
Every Other Week - up to 3 dogs only.

If you need a One-time Scoop, we can do that too! Keep in mind that these Scoops are not a recurring service. If you would like to try us out with a One-Time Scoop, we can always upgrade you later.

*More than 4 dogs for Twice Weekly and Once Weekly are an additional $10 per dog, per cleanup.

How much does a Scoop Subscription cost?

The cost of your chosen plan will depend on the Scoop Frequency, number of dogs, and size of yard being Scooped.

Initial Scoop Service pricing also depends on number of dogs, size of yard, and specifically the amount of accumulated pet waste on your property. The cost will range between $70-$195, is a one-time charge, and is considered the first Scoop Service of your Monthly Subscription.

Initial Scoops will take more time overall and helps to set the stage for future cleanups. These cleanups can take up to 1 hour, possibly exceeding 1 hour, depending on size of yard and the amount of accumulated pet waste.

During this Initial visit we familiarize ourselves with your yard, such as pet waste hot spots and gate entrances. Our Scoop Technician will be taking notes and photos of your property for future reference, if needed.

The Initial Scoop is the cleanup that is going to get your yard back to normal for you and your family!

What if I need to Pause my Scoop Subscription?

We can help with that!

If you're going on vacation, or maybe your pet will be off property for a while, meaning no pet waste needs to be scooped during this time, we can definitely Pause your Scoop Service.

You may Pause your Subscription without incurring an additional fee as long as there has not been an unreasonable amount of pet waste accumulated during your temporary Pause of Scoop Service. (Please see our Terms of Service for additional information about Pausing a Subscription and/or associated fees.)

Once we Resume your Monthly Scoop Subscription you will be billed for the remaining Scoop Services for that month, if applicable. Your Monthly Scoop Subscription will then continue as normal, and we'll be back to keeping your yard clean.
